Appointments
We schedule appointments Monday thru Friday 9:20 am to 4:40 pm. For all appointments, Dr. Grumet makes every effort to see you at your scheduled time, but there may be a wait due to emergencies.
If you must cancel your appointment, we ask that you provide us with as much notice as possible, but a minimum of at least 24 hours is required.
For some people converting to a tele-psychiatry (telephone session) on the same day (time may differ) will avoid the need to cancel.
There is a fee if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice. Go HERE for more info.
Monday appointment cancellations must be received before 3:30 pm on the previous Friday to avoid a fee.
If your insurance company requires a medication prior authorization, there is a charge. Go HERE for more info.

Medication Refills
Dr. Grumet schedules follow-up appointments to discuss your medication and any questions you may have. He prescribes sufficient medication to last until your follow-up; as a general rule, our office does not call in prescriptions outside of office visits. We charge a prescription call-in fee if an appointment is rescheduled or missed and medication is required. This fee is not covered by insurance and must be paid before other services are rendered. Please allow 24 hours for medications to be called in. Go HERE for more info on this fee.
Payment Policy
Unless prior arrangements are made with our office, payment is required at the time of service. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
Insurance Policies:
We are not in-network for any insurance plans.
We accept self-pay patients.
Your insurance will generally cover medication costs but will not cover office visits.
We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid.
